It is his utmost priority to achieve with all available and admissable means the best possible solutions for his clients. On account of his specialised wide experience in antitrust law matters and his passion for antitrust law he is able to offer solid and sound advice in antitrust law.
His working languages are German and English.
Nils studied law at the universities of Bonn (both state examinations with distinction), Cologne (PhD studies and degree relating to procedural aspects of private enforcement of EU competition law), Strasbourg (Erasmus studies) and Edinburgh (LL.M. degree in EU law with distinction).
In the years 2011 to 2014 Nils worked in the antitrust department of Hogan Lovells LLP in Düsseldorf. From 2015 to 2017 he worked in the antitrust practice of Linklaters LLP in Düsseldorf. Since 2017 he has been working as an inhouse antitrust lawyer for the chemical company Covestro AG (former Bayer Material Science).
In the course of his career he gathered extensive experience in several different industries such as the automotive, food, insurance, construction and IT-industry as well as in the engineering and banking sector. He specialises in the area of digitalisation, e-commerce and internet trade.
He teaches antitrust law at the FOM University of Applied Sciences.
